Although nonstick pots and pans are easy to clean, they are not stain-proof. You clean a nonstick cookie sheet with soap and water in most cases. But occasionally, stains such as burnt grease make cleaning nonstick cookware more difficult. Fortunately, there are a few simple methods for getting stains off of a nonstick cookie sheet.
Video of the Day
Step 1
Place the cookie sheet in the sink.
Step 2
Pour vinegar onto a scrubbing pad and scrub the stain. Vinegar is effective in removing most stains.
Step 3
Make a paste of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 2 tablespoons vinegar in a bowl. Dip the scrubbing pad into the paste and then scrub the stains. This method works for more difficult stains.
Step 4
Rinse the cookie sheet to remove paste and stain.
Tip
Do not use oil or cooking sprays with nonstick cookware.
